Madison College Bookstore Fall Semester News

As we all know, these are unprecedented times for everyone. The Bookstore would normally be gearing up for students to be coming into the Bookstore to pick up their books for the upcoming semester.  However, due to COVID, we are not able to have students in store this semester. This change does not mean that the Bookstore will not be operational; it just means the process to obtain your fall 2020 books will be a little different. We ask that all students order their books online. Please see the online ordering steps if you have questions on how to find out what books you need for your fall classes.

We will continue to off free shipping on all UPS ground orders through August 16th. Starting the week of August 17th, we are excited to offer in-person pickup options, in addition to the shipping options:

• Curbside (by appointment)
• Pickup at Truax (by appointment only)
• Pickup at Regional Campuses (Fort Atkinson, Watertown, Portage, and Reedsburg)

Curbside and pickup are free. Standard shipping charges apply for shipping. We will be offering free ground shipping for orders with a minimum of $25 in non-course materials.

How Pick-Up and Curbside Work

Truax Curbside: If you select Truax curbside, we will email you once your order is ready for pickup. In that email, you will receive a link to sign up for a pickup time slot. The curbside pickup spots will be in the metered parking area at the front of the campus, off Wright St. Please park in the marked curbside spots only.

The Truax curbside hours will be:

• Monday: 9 AM – 3 PM
• Tuesday: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 7 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM – 3 PM
• Friday: Unavailable

Truax In-store Pickup: If you are planning to be on campus for another appointment and want to pick your order up, you can select in-store pickup Truax.

The Truax in-store pickup hours will be:

• Monday: 9 AM to 1 PM
• Tuesday: 1 PM to 5 PM
• Wednesday: 3 PM to 7 PM
• Thursday: 10 AM to 2 PM

Pickup at other campus locations: If Truax is not the most convenient location for pickup, you can have your order sent to South, Fort Atkinson, Portage, Reedsburg and Watertown. We will include each location's hours and process in the order processed email.

We will miss seeing everyone in-store but look forward to processing your online orders via the redesigned website.
